Artist Statement 

        

          Design is always something I enjoyed learning about and creating. If you look around, you will notice that art and design surrounds us. Seeing how art is constantly changing and progressing, it highly influences my work. I strive to create designs that appeal to the client and truly engage them.

 

          Design is a process that requires organization and consistency. My process is the same for every project to ensure that I do the best possible work every time. I begin my process with extensive research and notes. I then draw all of my ideas into thumbnail sketches and roughs. Then from the top choices I make them into final mock-ups. After completing the final mock-ups I transfer them onto the computer and begin utilizing all the programs I need to make my sketches come to life. Creating designs takes time, effort, and determination, as well as the emotion I want to reflect in my work.

 

          As I have progressed as a designer, I have moved towards a style that represents simplicity. I believe having a clear, purposeful, yet unique design produces the best work that is timeless. I strive to create artwork that will be capable of capturing the attention and making a lasting impression on the client.
